She specializes in the financial market law, including the issues of commercial insurance. She has vast experience in terms of introduction of new insurance and banking products, drawing up and adjusting insurance and banking model forms of contracts to the applicable provisions of law and market practice, with a particular attention paid to the requirements of the insurance supervision and provisions on the competition and consumer protection.


  • She supervises the team responsible for the provision of legal services for business entities, within the range of current insurance activity, as well as of transactions in the insurance market (shares trading, portfolio transfer) during the conduct of the business activity, as well as its liquidation. She has been involved in the processes of establishment of five insurance companies in Poland.
  • She represents insurance companies, as well as insuring parties in the court proceedings related to the insurance contract, in particular payment of damages under the insurance contract.
  • She is experienced in advising within the scope of the brokerage and agency activity (opinions and negotiations on courtage and agency contracts).
  • She provides advisory services on the investment financing, including the one in the real estate market, in terms of drawing up and negotiations of credit contracts and collaterals.
  • She provides services within the range of banking sector, investment and pension funds.
  • She advises on competition and consumer protection issues in various economic branches, in particular in terms of model forms of contracts and unfair competition. She represents clients before the state authorities, as well as in civil court proceedings.
  • She trains insurance companies’ personnel and insurance agents in insurance law (insurance contracts law, adjustment of Polish law to the European insurance legislation and European courts’ decisions on the insurance general terms and conditions)
  • She is an author of numerous publications on insurance law, co-author of the civil law commentary devoted to the provisions on the insurance contract and of the commentary on the model forms of contracts in insurance contracts.
  • She is a member of the Board of the Insurance and Risk Management Chamber of Commerce
  • She defended her Ph. D. thesis on the insurance law in 2006 at the Law and Administration Faculty at the University of Gdańsk. She graduated from the postgraduate studies at the insurance law, as well as two seminars on comparative law at the University in Strasburg. She is a lecturer at the Faculty of Management at the University of Warsaw.
